and also my hair is black so should i bleach it first or just put the dye in?

i actually have black hair too and i dye it red during the spring/summer season and blue during the fall/winter season. the only thing about red dye is that it's the hardest color to stay for a long time. even if you bleach your hair first the color doesn't last all intensily, it will fade to a light brow/goldish/orangy color. the blue though does stay for a lot longer but will eventually fade to a more greenish/bluish color. red is a lot prettier, i think, especially more like a reddish/purplish/pinkish color. also, it's better to go to a stylist to do this because i tried numerous times on my own and doesn't turn out as good as a stylist.

Red, Red on black looks absolutely gorgeous. And you don't have to bleach it then, if you do blue however you'll probably need to lighten the ends up.

Red if you are female and blue if you are male. If you have never dyed your hair before is better to bleach it first and if you dont know how to bleach it then dont.

I'm glad your only dying the ends so that you can cut it when it becomes too damaged. The answer you are looking for lies in you...You know the answer when someone says blue (but you really wanted red or vice versa) Red less harsh

you should bleach it first, because then the color wont show up. i think you should dye it blue. both colors would stand out and look great on your black hair, but i would say blue!!!!!!!

between red or blue? i guess it's just whatever you're more comfortable with. maybe you should do purple, then you get both! jk, i think blue would look cool, but red looks pretty in black hair too

bleach it blue though it might really ruin your hair but do what ever you want but my choice would be BLUE
