Wrinkles on your inner lip, huh? wow....never heard of that one, doc.

Okay,, I think SHE's asking the question, here, not you guys. Who are you to question what she wasnts to do with her body? You do what you do to yours, she'll do what she does to hers..

Alright, Inner Lip Tattoos..I like those.. Never had one, yet, but here's the best I can give you:

Anyway, ALL tattoos DO fade with time. It varies from person to person, and on the artist. If the artist does it right (make sure you pick a good artist) then it should stay for quite some time. If You follow the aftercare they tell you, you should be good.

I usually see two extremes on how they heal, usually very well, or very pale. Most of them turn out very well, a need a touch up every 3-5 years, some people haven't gotten a touch up and have had it for 7. So it is really hard to say how you'll heal, but the majority heals up dark, and stays that way. Like I said, find a good artist, you could talk to them about it, too.

send me a message if you have any questions.. ok? Good Luck.

Lip Tattoo Fade

2016-10-18 11:19:05 · answer #2 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

Don't get matching tattoos. As a tattoo artist, I see a lot of people who have done such, and they always claim that at the time, they knew they would be together forever, and no one could talk them out of it, and now, they want the tattoo covered up to erase bad memories. You may say and claim that your relationship will stand the test of time, but, you just never know. You can donate blood if you have a tattoo. Most of the time you have to wait one year after your most recent tattoo to donate. And lip tattoos, it's another fad, like tribal, that people will regret in the future. They do last forever, but fade horribly and look awful after a short amount of time. A lip tattoo may look good for 5 years if you're lucky. After that, it looks like a big blob on your lip. Sorry to be so negative, but I am just thinking of my experiences. Best wishes!

All tattoos will fade over time - even when it comes to permanent makeup...

You will have to go for a touch-up after a few years

Make sure this is something you really want - I know a girl that did it and it looked great at first (that was 10 years ago) - now that she has aged some (she was no spring chicken before, but she did have full lips) her lips have thinned and it looks like splotchy lipstick

I have heard that they fade after a while. I know someone that has it done and it is pretty cool. No one can see it unless you want them to see it. If it's something that you want then you should. If it does fade just go back and have them color it again. If you don't like it then let it fade. Good luck!

In time tattoos do fade so if you get one, you may have to have it re-touched in a couple of years.

They fade in intensity, but won't fade away.

No. They spread and blur as you age and, of course, they are distorted by wrinkles. Think of what old men who have been in the Navy look like and you'll know what happens to old tatto0s.
