This is a good question, and one that deserves honest, knowledgeable answers. In order to attempt to give you that, first of all, being an attorney would be a good start, but, since I am not one, but am not in exactly your situation, but somewhat similar in some aspects, it would help to know what you are on parole for, and what are your warrants in Victoria for? Are the warrants actual arrest warants? Or are they bench warrants?
O.K. I know you can't really answer (or don't wish too), so I will speculate. You more than likely are not a danger to society. Your warrants in Victoria are probably bench warrants, meaning that they will not actively seek you out, but will only get you if they get you for some other reason. Also, if they're for such things like 'failure to appear' on a misdemeanor, they generally go away after like 7 years. (am I close?)
You are currently on Parole in Australia.......drug charges? (am I close?)
Going on these guesses, you should probably go about whatever business you choose, as long as you lay low, don't cause trouble, and if you want to get high, for god's sake, don't get caught! If you drink, don't drive. As a matter of fact, don't drive at all, if possible. Statistics show that about 90% of people with warrants get caught while driving because of being pulled over for some driving infraction.
Prisons are so overcrowded, law enforcement understaffed, that unless I guessed totally wrong and you are a dangerous, child-harming or murdering pervert, or have committed some other heinous crime with an innocent victim with a grieving and pissed off family seeking you out, they will probably leave you alone as long as you stay out of their way.
Email me (only if you like) - I'm intreagued by your question - let me know if I was anywhere near right (or wrong) in guessing the circumstances of your predicament - like I say, only if you happen to want to.

If it were myself I would do the best that I can here first...if you need work look into places like ALLSTAR who subcontract positions for bridgestone etc.. If you are really serious about going to Victoria discuss it with your parole officer...that's what they are there for.. that is unless you don't want them to be aware of the warrants in Victoria. Tough spot buddy..stuck between a rock and a hard place. Everyone makes the wrong choices sometime...and at 21 you have plenty of time to refocus on building a better life and plenty of opportunities to do this...make use of your parole people to get access to these opportunities...good luck!

I don't know what you did to get these warrants and parole, but I'd advise staying put. If you jump your parole, when they pick you up they will put you back in prison. Even if they pick you up in Victoria, I think they have to send you back to SA to serve your time there. (Or they may prosecute you, sentence you, send you back to SA to serve your time there, then have you transferred to a prison in Victoria to serve your time there.)
My advice, stay in SA until your parole is done. Getting a place to stay and a stable job does not excuse the crimes you have already committed.

Most likely. Just turn yourself in and face the music like a man. Australia is the place where the English excommunicated criminals back in the day. So you are most likely a descendant of a criminal.
Good luck with that.

If you make the move, don't buy a lot of perishable food at any one time. I doubt they will bring it to your cell.
