Ya, it could be because of long hours on the computer but still I think you need to check it out with your doctor.

I suffer from back pain myself,

It could be from the computer, But if it lasts for more than seven days or seem sto get worse, Then go see the doctor,

THey can do an mri or an x-ray, When you go though you will have to PUSH them for these things cause they will not do it unless you pretty much beg for it,

I know cause i've had two mri's in my life and they're expensive but insurance will pay most of the time,

You'll be alright, but if it persists, yeah, see the doctor,

How old are you, I was 21 when my back started hurting

Is it the same side as your mouse arm/hand? If so the overuse of the computer could be the culprit. Is it a low back pain? Any history of injury? Was it a sudden or gradual onset?

Could be a muscle spasm or strain. Try to take a hot shower or bath and if there is someone in your household who can rub some muscle ointment on, then get some rest.

STRETCH EVERY DAY TWICE A DAY . LAY ON THE FLOOR AND TRY TO SWING YOUR LEGS OVER YOUR HEAD BEHIND YOU , THEN SLOWLY ROUND YOUR BACK OUT WHEN BRINGING YOUR LEGS BACK DOWN. ALSO ICE NO HEAT . YOU SHOULD TRY TO AVOID ANYTHING THAT IRRITATES IT.
