Hi, i am thin but i have a "fat" tummy. Should I go diet or should I just exercise? Or should I do both? If I need to exercise, what kind will help me remove the fats from my stomach?

An englarged tummy might suggest digestive problems. Not to be gross but if you have constipation/diarrhea issues this is a strong indication of digestive issues which can later in life lead to other more serious, life threatening issues. Sure exercise will help but do address the system from the inside out. You may have parasites or candita overgrowth. Numerous yeast infections or sinus problems are an indication of candita - which is bad bacteria - maybe if you were on a ton of antibiotics throughout your life. If any of this sounds like you, you should definitely consult a nutritionist. I'm not one but I've learned via my own problems what can be done and the first thing is to get on some probiotics (good bacteria) - stop eating sugars and heavy starches (they feed the candita/bad bacteria). Next, get some good digestive enzymes. Third, eat more fiber and water. Oh, and start on some omega 3s. This will get your system functioning properly so that your exercising will pay off best.

If you have stubborn belly fat, the only way you can reduce your fat is by doing aerobic exercises. During activities like swimming, rowing and walking, enough oxygen is supplied to the body to burn fat. Fat is burned from all over the body, including the stomach. Both, definitely.
Actually no diet will fully function without being accompanied with physical exercises and a healthy lifestyle for a lasting result.

You need to diet to get rid of that fat. Exercise like crunches will firm the muscles underneath, but it doesn't do a thing to get rid of fat.

This is why some of us prefer the Kimkins diet because it works really fast without exercise! Amen!

try a hundred sit ups a day and you should get that belly out of the way. Dont diet if you are already thin as you will just look guant and probably still have the belly

Eat well three times a day. This is important to eat healthy. Watch your calorie intake. Exercise lots, and sweat hard, it takes a while to notice a differece, but you will feel better !

A diet would work best. Crunches COULD help, or it COULD make it worse.

The muscles will become stronger and bigger BEHIND the pot belly making it look bigger. or it COULD just burn the fat.

Or you could say Screw off and sit down with a box of cookies and some milk. (My personal favorite.)
