The reality is is that the people with weak immune systems are the very old and the very young. A persons immune system will take care of itself if the person who owns the immune system will take care of themselves. The key is good nutrition, and take you vitamins. That is it, remember your immune system protects you at all times not just when you get sick, If you are healthy, your immune system is healthy.

Yup0 he's right the best way to boost your immune system is to come into contact with antigens so you can build up a repitoir against them.

Old people generally have a weaker immune system because as you get older your Thymus shrinks to the point of non existance....thus you mature less and less T cells. without T cells your adaptive immune system is literelly buggered.

All this stuff about taking certain yohgart drinks with probiotics doesnt help the immune system it merely helps commensalism which is basically increasing the numbers of commensals ion the gut to help stop pathogens from colonising. Doesnt actually "boost" the immune system.
So yeah live a little dirtier and we'll all be healthier....but obviously dont take this info to the extreme and life in a sty hehe

You'll laugh and dismiss this im sure, but if you want a good immune system, get ill occassionally. Don't disinfect everything beofre using it. Your immune system needs to come into contact with bacteria and viruses for two reasons: 1, It keeps it in shaoe as it were, and 2, it keeps up to date.

Obviously, a good diet and excercise will also be good for you, but just let things happen.
