I don't know if it is legal or not but it isnt very sportsmanlike.

If Im not mistaken this is called baiting and is illegal, Im not for sure if its illegal only in certain states though you may check kansas hunting laws.

not sure about ks but in mo salt or flavored salt is legally hunted over...grains or other "food" are considered baiting, but salt is not

don't hunt deer that would be mean you wouldn't like it if some was going to hunt you!!!!!!
