loneliness does not neccassarily equate unhappyness , lot's of succesfull happoy people still long for companionship,that is a HUMAN trait

In my opinion, yes loneliness in a guy turns me off. At least the loneliness that he needs a girlfiends. A guy needs to be able to be happy by himself before he can date me. He needs to realize that he doesn't need a girl to be happy.

It might make her think he is only paying attention to her because he is lonely and would leave her after he found someone he thought was better or something like that. I really don't know where you're coming from on this.

it depends, if he's lonely and i can cure his lonelyness by being close to him, then no. But if we're together and he'll call me up at 2 am and whine "i'm lonely will you come over" that would irk me just a bit.
