Whenever I try to connect to a game server (Quake 2 to be more specific) I get the "connection refused" error. Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it? It's bumming me out. I want to play with a friend..

It could be a few things... the server may be full, it may be private, your ping may not meet the minimum required, someone may be using a pirate version of the game that has your serial number, etc.
