I think you can get some good information on working on your kitten's behavior if you go to: www.littlebigcat.com and read Dr. Jean Hovfe's article titled, "Squirt Bottles, Punishment, and Cat Behavior". The articles are in alphabetical order so that one is near the end.
You could be reading for a long while - there are good articles on cat health and nutrition too.

I have used tinfoil and it does work. They hate the noise and feel of it. It gets sort of annoying to have to put it on all the time, but after a while the cat stopped scratching my furniture for fear the foil was there. It will work!!!!

I used to have 6 cats and that all of them could dangle around the kicthen whilst i became busy cooking. i don't comprehend how many cases i could bypass to coach around and step on one among them. It have been given to be a real subject to paintings in my kitchen. I went to the spray bottle, saved it in the kitchen for all time. I positioned the nozzle on flow and could squirt them some cases in the face. i could strengthen my voice besides to coach them I wasn't liking this. Cats hate water of their face. i did not drown them, in effortless terms sufficient for them to get the message that I wasn't a satisfied camper. It have been given to the factor the place all i could ought to do is p.c.. the bottle up and practice it to them and that they could take off. Lol! I had to use a squirt bottle when my kitty was young too! If just plain water doesn't do anything, but a bit of lemon juice INTO the water. Then, squirt her with the bottle, and see what she does. Try to get her right in the face. She will high tail it out of there!
If that doesn't work, say "No" in a calm voice........and THEN squirt her. Maybe try a lot of lemon juice in the water!

I've heard cats do not like tinfoil and if you put it on the couches they will stop going up there. I've never done it but it is probably worth a shot.

Use a can of compressed air, you can get this from bunnings warehouse, or a other tool shop of somekind. And just use this next to her not on her and she will be so scared that hopefully she doesn't do it again.

Consistency is key and using only one word for the correction, (NO,) as you spray them, (preferably between the eyes,) But again, you have to always be consistent or they risk getting away with whatever it is you don't want them to do.
