I left to go get smokes earlier today, and a friend (whom my b/f hates) was in town, so we went to the store together, and then did a few of her errands. Once I get home, the b/f is gone and all his stuff is too. He calls and says it is BS that I took off for a few hours when he was here to spend time with me. (We live together) So I called him and told him that it was over between us b/c if he would get mad and pack up and leave without so much as a word over something as petty as me going to the store, then I didn't feel secure enough that he would stick around through major issues in our relationship. December will be our 1 year anniversary together.

The friend is female, for the person below who referred to her as a him. And I think I am very respectful of him, and his feelings. My friend doesn't even come to my house, because she knows that he doesn't like her. We always go somewhere else to meet up and hang out. He smokes as well, so it wasn't because I went to go buy cigarettes. No, I did not call him to tell him I would be gone longer than planned. I actually told him I was just going to get cigarettes and I would be right back. I didn't know I was going to run into my out of town friend, and I think that is why he got so mad. This isn't the first time he has packed up and left me though, I was gone to work, and after work I went to visit my mother at her work. He called my cell phone (which he has since had shut off) 20 times to see when I was coming home in a matter of 30 minutes. Finally I told him I was on my way home. He already had his stuff packed and waiting when I got home, for someone to come get him.

sounds like he was looking for a reason, any reason. so he picked you being gone for a few hours. and if you live together, it is not like he couldn't see you later on that day. but in his defense did you call and tell him that you were going to be gone for a few hours, or did you not call. if you did not call than you are wrong also, granted not so wrong for him to pack up his crap and burn out like he did. not taking sides but sounds like there is more to this story than what you are telling.

Yeah, I would say he went off the deep end...If he was going to get mad about you being gone for a few hours when you said you were going to be, I'd hate to see how he'd react when you tell him you had to go visit family for a few days?!
I think you're better off with out him. Think of it as a blessing in disguise!!

I am sorry to say that I think you did the right thing. If he gets this mad over something like that think of what will happen later. I was in something close to that. My friend wouldn't come around because of the b/f.

Definitely much more history and baggage going on than just a walk to the store - for the both of you. Probably better that you both take a breather for a little while.

Did he hate that you smoked? Sounds like he was looking for an excuse to run and he found it.

"Now I on no account have any prejudice against gays, yet why ought to they take being gay to the severe, dressing like a woman, speaking like a woman, performing like a woman." Many gay human beings do no longer shop on with the gender roles like something of society. "I in simple terms on no account understood this ingredient in any respect, you do no longer see at once men like me strolling around performing so "at once" lol that is greater of a organic ingredient." It relies upon on the guy. In my reports, i've got met various men that walked around speaking approximately "macho" they have been and boldly assert they enjoyed women. nonetheless, gay human beings don't have the objective of affirming "look at how gay i'm," whilst they behave. they are in simple terms in simple terms being themselves. notwithstanding, *human beings* word and accuse him for merchandising and marketing his sexual orientation.
