If a person doesn't believe in the one true God but just that there's some kind of higher power other than God and Jesus, is that person still going to Hell forever?

For those who have never heard of God, Heaven, or hell! No, they well not go to hell. But, for those who have heard and learn about them, and one must do to get there, then yes. Jesus said 'I am the only way to the father'. Meaning one must fulfill the requirement in the religion. Abide with the commandment, so as the person in the after life will be able to live in heaven ever after.
Another thing, God doesn't want anyone of us to end up in Hell, that is why he keep trying to get us to come to him, and he tries over and over again. Once the Holy Virgin Mary appeared to the lady Fatima, and tolled her that God wants to keep the gates of Heaven opens untill we all are able to come in. all of us.

I know, a lot of what I say might not go well with many around her who do not believe in God, but simple put, God is like the father who no matter how his kids behave badly, still want them to do well, untill they are all safe, and at home. you can fill in your own fruitfull thoughts as you desire.

You stepping in to Agnosticism, I think. Sounds to me like you talking about the " Force ". You have to understand that religion is a Path of Salvation. I am not aware of any mortal that I can put a gun to will say with absolute certainty where they will end up when I pull the trigger. No, I've never done such a thing, it was a hypothetical cinematic.

You see...Christian's believe that God is the Greatest Power there is. I believe that Wiccan's have a God that greater, but I don't understand it enough to say for certain.
God has many churches with many windows doorways to heaven. The one common thread among all of then is Do to others what you would have done to you' Basically, promote the greater good in the universe. I know that with all the Dogma flying around, that can't be easy, lol :)

As for " Am I going to hell for not following Jesus?" The Christian answer is " Yes " in reality, I couldn't prove one way or the other. Follow your own heart, search your feelings. Learn never stop learning. When you here the right answer, it will feel right to you. Best wishes.

Yes because you have not believed in God who is Jesus. If you don't believe in Jesus, then you don't believe in God. This is worshiping other gods. The punishment for this is the Lake of Fire forever. Take the step because God shows you that He is Jesus.

I don't think so....many people believe in the "Great Spirit" or the "Creator" but they are all centrally speaking of the same being which Christians call "God." I think people just have different names for the same being.....nothing wrong with that as long as you believe....that is how I feel....I mean, telling someone they are going to Hell for calling God something other than God is like saying they are going to Hell for saying God is a woman and not a man....No one really knows WHAT God is, or the name which He/She prefers to be called. We created the name "God" as human beings....."God" is a spirit who lives in the hearts of those who believe, no matter what they choose to call Him/Her.

The mystery of God is that we just don't know. Christ says, "No one can come to the Father except through me," but that presupposes that the person knows and understands what Christ teaches.

I am a Christian, but I don't believe that non-believers are automatically condemned. I believe that God will judge us all in His own way, according to how we have lived our lives.

Without the shedding of blood there is no remission for sins. So unless you accept the only perfect blood that was shed for your sins on the cross there is no provision for your forgiveness. But since it is a free gift there for the asking if you repent why not just repent and ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior?

If you have heard the gospel of Jesus preached , and have refused to believe , then you will not go to heaven. The only way to get to heaven is to confess with your mouth that Jesus is your savior , and follow His teachings . Heaven does not exist for any other religion !!

" I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life; no man can come to the Father except through me". -- Jesus Christ

" I am the resurrection and the life; he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live ; and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die". - Jesus (Jn. 11:25)

" Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved". (Acts 4:12)

Most likely... Jesus is the only way to Heaven. Complete ignorance of Jesus could be an excuse, but not deliberately ignoring Him.

Belief in a higher power sounds like your in recovery. In recovery they say you can't touch a drink. Jesus, turned water into wine. Jesus said, "Do all things in moderation." Jesus never said don't drink. The two are not the same.
