It wouldn't hurt to let her do the roller set,it's nothing to worry about. Start getting worried when she wants to cut it. I would put my foot down then. If you like your hair long, even though she is your daughter, don't let her cut it. After she practices the roller set on you,you can always wash it out or just brush it and put it in a pony tail. Good luck

Let her practice her roller setting techniques on you,
you may find that you and your wife enjoy your time in rollers,
please note it can take some time for your hair to dry
And therefore I would suggest that you get your daughter to set both of you at night so that you can sleep in them, and then let her take them out in the morning before she goes to her work or beauty school
alternatively you should invest in a couple of soft hood type hairdryers to dry your sets

I hate to say you should make a stand, because as a family you must endeavor to bring closeness and harmony to the family unit, and your negativity would be taken that way. But, if you must use an argument to free yourself from the possible humiliation of being curler ed, speak up,...and say," if she was in school to be a surgeon you wouldn't let her practice surgical techniques on you."
It may be much easier to give in and let her do her training, just to keep the peace .

Thank God she has someone to practice on before she reaches the real world. Family will be true with you no matter what. Why not let a family member embrassed you before going out there in the REAL WORLD.

Sure, go ahead and let her give you a wash 'n' set.
Why not invite your beer drinkin' buddies over to watch? Make a party of it! But be sure no one brings a digital camera; you could find your pic on the internet with you sporting rollers in your hair.

Don't do it unless you're prepared to shave your head before going out in public again.
