If he has a green card he must of done something to be held without charges. No green card now a days is very hard to get out, where I live police officers will stop someone for a traffic matter and notice that they are immigrants and ask for a green card, its getting crazy. Get an attorney that deals with immigration immediately, they charge a lot of money so be prepared, good luck!!!

In a real democracy, you are charged with a crime before being jailed, but I think you are talking about present day US. There is no way of telling until GWB is out of office and democracy returns.

interior united statesa. we used to have the constitutional precise to "Habeas Corpus" however the Bush administration has suspended that precise. So, you may now be held indefinitely devoid of being charged with a criminal offense. before the Bush administration took away our rights people ought to easily be held for 40 8 hrs devoid of being charged with a criminal offense.
