It's 9:30 here. I haven't drank alcohol in 4 months and I just realized my cat's out of canned cat food. He has hard cat food, but I feel bad.

Do you feel drunk? If not, you should be safe to drive. That's not a lot of beer ... if it's 9:30 where you are now, that's only 2 beers in the last 5.5 hours.

On the other hand, if you really don't want to go out to the store, why not consider feeding your kitty a nice can of tuna (if you have some). He'll appreciate it!

Depends on how much you weigh. Alcohol can affect your driving for the next 4 to 6 hours after your most recent beer. If you get pulled over for a DUI or a DWI .. what a mess that will be ! Most states consider it a DUI if you are over .08 . That is the same as drinking ONE capful of Nyquil. Don't risk it. Let the cat eat hard food this time.. it will be fine. Good Luck ! :)

Most people you should be ok. I had a girl friend once that a half a beer would put her out like a light. Use careful judgement. If you have a can or tuna just give the cat that.

Your body metabolizes about a beer an hour. That's what the authorities say.
You had two beers in 5 1/2 hours? That really not much.
YES, you can drive (if you could before the beers!)!

No, don't drive. No matter how little Alcohol you drank, your Judgment will be somwhat impaired. Give your Cat the dry food and hug him.

Stay home and relax. It won't hurt your cat to wait until tomorrow for some tinned food. My cats only eat dry food. The vet said its better for them.

I love my cat and feel horrible when all he has is dry food, but I don't think my cat would want me to drive after drinking. Just let him have dry food, I don't think your kitty would want you to have an accident

If you're sure that's all you had. You are not tired or stressed and not taking any other meds. You good to go, But be honest with yourself.

Anyways I posted 4 hours after you post so you've already done or not. Cheers.

2 beers in 5 hours? if you're too drunk to drive you really need to work on building up a tolerance. if you can balance on one foot without falling and laughing you're good to go
