What does it have that other coffee sellers don't have?
I have tried it 2/3 times to see what the hype is about...it seems to be brewed really strong, but it doesnt taste any better, to me...

As far as I'm concerned, all Starbucks has that the others don't is high-priced undrinkable liquid (I won't dignify it by calling it coffee) that would peel the paint off a barn door.
Their product tastes as if the beans were burnt while roasting, and it's so strong and bitter that it upsets my stomach. Plus, I refuse to pay $4 for anything that doesn't have alcohol and/or a decent taste!

Yes, I drink coffee at Starbucks. It's the closest coffee shop to my home, and it's in a Barnes and Noble Bookstore that I like to go to. I enjoy their shops in general, and they're good places for people to meet, especially the ones with wireless access! Several organizations I work with use them as a meeting place for volunteers; their employees are very courteous, ALWAYS get my order right, and are supportive of the organizations with which I work, as well as many others, making them a valuable asset to the community.

i guess i like starbucks because its good coffee and its the only coffee shop nearby that offers specialty drinks. the only other coffee shops that ive seen in my area are in the malls and nobody wants to go into a mall to get coffee. and plus all the malls are 10 minutes away. starbucks is only 3, very conveniant.. i like the cappucinos at the gas stations, but the gas stations dont have blended mocha frappucinos.

I like Starbucks coffee. I think they add too much milk to the lattes but I like the way they roast the beans. Besides I'm from Seattle so what can I say?

There is really nothing special about Starbucks. Those are just overpriced coffee drinks. The reason I drink is because I get them for free. Otherwise, forget about it.

I love Starbucks. It's consistent and no matter where I am if I can find a Starbucks I know I'm going to get a good cup of coffee.

Never! They buy it for unfairly low prices then add water and think they can sell it to me for an unfairly high price! I drink fair trade coffee. That means people were paid a fair price for the beans and at least at the place I go to it doesn't cost any more than the rest ($0.70 a cup).

Why do people drink Starbucks and then complain about the price of gas? Starbucks is over-rated as far as I'm concerned.
Tastes burned to me.
