Because they are misled by media and government into beleiveing if you hunt or are a gunowner, you will commit a crime. Also there is the segment of the poulation that beleives hunting animals in cruel and inhumane. I am not a hunter, but was raised in a family that is active hunters. I don't see any prob with it. My family eats whatever they hunt. There is no killing just for killing. If people NEVER hunted, fact is the human race wold have died out. I am not a hunter, but I do enjoy sport shooting-clay targets- skeet, trap and sporting clays. I am quite good, and I do get slack about it from my friends.I own several guns, and would never use them for anythng but target shooting. Fact is, people do nut understand what they, do not know. They see guns as a threat, therefore hunters and gunowners are a threat. Education is the key.

People don't hate gun owners. The media and politicans hate gun owners but those are not people. They are scum. Only the weak minded and conformists hate gun owners. The people who get caught up in the emotion part. So basically the ignorant liberals and there are not so many as one would expect. But the media and government have an agenda so they make it seem like disarment has more backing than it really does. A great deal of anti-gun organizations went defunct last year and I don't even know how the hell you join the brady bastards. In fact the brady's had a forum. Which then became a pro-gun forum full of factual information so the brady's took it down. Edit: dca20033... voted for a particular freedom hater known as barack obama.

I proudly hunt for SPORT and FOOD. When I was hunting rabbits my senses we're stronger than they've ever been. I live in a bad neighborhood, so when I stopped, my senses got weaker and I let my guard down and some coward shot me in the back. In life I learned the hard way, you are either an experienced predator or the prey. People who own guns only for self defense and never hunt could have an arsenal but still won't be as ready to take on a trained assassin like a hunter will be.

Uneducated. Most people who do not like hunting live in cities and think it s cruel to go out and kill innocent animals. What they don't realize is that when the deer are overpopulated they become a nuisance for motorists and also CWD (chronic wasting disease) would spread faster and kill more of the deer than the hunters do. I hunt, and I hate hunters. The kind of hunters that come up from the cities, leave their garbage in the woods, get their deer to brag about and just haul it off to the dump because they only hunted for the bragging rights. I also hate the hunters that lure the deer in with apples or corn. That's not right. I also hate the hunters that shoot an animal, and won't go find it because it's too much work. Or the kind that shoots a deer but just leaves it lay there because they found out it was a doe and not a buck.
Gun owners on the other hand are getting a bad rep just by all the school shootings and all the out of control crazy people. It's like the people against guns don't think that the guy would've just found another weapon to use and so they blame it on the gun, not the person.

We hate them because hunting is wrong. All things have life and nothing deserves to have that taken from them for sport. I'm not sure you would like to watch your family bleed out and die because someone got a thrill from it... That animal you kill was innocent and just trying to live it's life in peace and you come around and shoot it. It is sadistic, wrong, and sickening. A hunter deserves nothing better than to be hunted and killed himself so he can understand the pain he caused so many innocent animals. Just like Hitler deserved to die in a concentration camp. No one in the world wants to be killed, including animals. So why is it ok to go out somewhere and kill something for fun, not for food. If you live in Africa and hunt to survive that is one thing. But when you go to the forest and start picking off rabbits, deer, and bears so you can feel like a man and compensate for your own small penis that is entirely another thing. Also man stopped need to hunt a long time ago, a very long time ago. We settled and now we farm. So the "desire" you fulfill when you hunt is nothing less than the desire of a serial killer out for blood.

Gun owners are fine it is the second amendment of the United States. We have the right to defend ourselves and that is a crucial part of American life.

Because it's unnecessary intrusion into an animal's habitat and needless violence all for self-gratification. I'm ok with hunting if it's used for food, but someone who goes and shoots a peaceful animal for no reason is just a psychopath. I don't hate gun owners, I hate the way some people use guns that's all.

The same reason people hate other people that aren't of their same race or religion. Ignorance. I hunt, for food not sport. I never used to but after being educated I realized that hunting is the responsible way to control the animal population. If there is no control there will be more disease and more cross breeding. I'd rather see an animal die quickly than die very slowly of some disease.

People don't see anything they don't want to see. They blame guns for shooting people. I've never seen a gun get up by itself and shoot someone. It's like Larry the Cable Guy said, saying a gun shoots someone is like saying the pencil wrote the wrong answer, not the person.

Because of ignorance. These people believe that firearms are bad, and should be banned. They don't understand that this idea doesn't work, and never could. All they see is dead kids, and they want it to stop. They figure that if there were no guns, there would be less violence. This makes sense if you DON"T think about it. Realistically, there is no way to guarantee that all guns could be removed from the population. This is why it would never work. Guns are not the problem, not by any stretch of the imagination. Education is the key.

The people who don't like hunters are environmentalists example peta. The people who hate gun owners think that if there were no guns there would be no murders.

I dare somebody to put up a sign in their front lawn that says this is a gun free household and wait how long until you get robbed.

the media and sara brady are in a large part responsible. they all scream when some weirdo kills innocent kids, a country will never stop killing, this goes back to when time began.
everyone thinks that if a few in govt want it, it should be good for all.
i am a firm believer in the second amendant. that the first signers had enough forethought to see what would happen without it. the media should look at great britan, a surge in major crimes without people being able to defend themselves. hilter did it. even noreiga had all the guns , and the people had none to change a corrupt system. be proud that you are american, thank the soldiers in the desert, that give you the right to object to the life i want to have. guns are no different that cars, boats, drugs, it takes someone to kill with them .
