and you answer...then something else happens and she says...'why?'.....now tell me what is WRONG with her...other people have noticed it and refuse to speak with her...she just whys people all the time...is she not understanding????or what is her problem???

she may just be stupid.
or she thinks it is cute and it is backfiring on her.
try confronting her with it and see what her answer is. if she says "WHY?" then you have my permission to smack her in the forehead.

heehehehe i used to do that when I was a tot. I'd ask my mom all sorts of questions and why were things the way they are. It used to drive her nuts! lol But I Grew out of that a long time a go.

.....if it really bothers you tell her maybe she'll stop asking why so much.

she might just be trying to get on your nerves so that you will get really mad because thats how people are one of my friends says that all the time. i say something then she goes why and i dont feel like telling her and if i tell her she makes fun of me..

She's probably just being immature, I doubt it's because she's not understanding something. Maybe you should sit down with her and ask her about it.

It sounds like she's about 4-5 years old to me! That's about when they constantly say "Why?"

you could try redirecting her....answer her "why" with a "why" of your own. or maybe you could just sit down somewhere with her and tell her how you feel?
