well, if that is your perception then i'm sorry for those who've given you tha impression. i, personally, believe your statement should conclude - the more passionate and strong in faith you become. now mind you - with that passion needs to come charity and compassion, with the strength conviction of words but not cruelty. if someone's zealousness in faith seems rude to you, maybe you ought to find outmore about how faith makes a person feel - it's powerful and overwhelming - generally the over zealousness is trying to get through tosomeone whois closed minded and spitful (not saying you are) and thus, their passion seems rude, instead of saving.

Allow me to be one of the first who has the chance to answer your question.
You went and put so much time in the preparation of this truly good question that it requires many words just to answer it with the respect it deserves.
You imply that it is rude people that have a strong belief in God, am I correct to say?
I guess I'm one of them in this case. Here is a truth that I'm sure as you say will be rude.
Christians have life inside of them. They will live forever. A non-Christian has death inside of them and they are as dead men walking. There life is over at the death of the flesh.
You sound like a educated person by the sentence structure that I see in your question. So I will bet that if given the opportunity, you would choose life over death no matter what the cost. Am I right?
Well you are given this chance while we live under grace in this Earth Age. Its free and given to all men just for asking. To be able to live forever in the presence of God and with the co-inheritance which Jesus Christ shares with us. That means that everything that belongs to God is also ours. And its all for the asking.
Yes, maybe I am rude as you call it, but I'm also beloved by God and a friend to Jesus Christ and I share what He gets.
Signed: A Rude Person.><>

You know you might almost have a point. But until you actually meet real christians you can't really make that kind of asumption. It is true there a lot of,what l call, "proffessional christians" out there who seem to have one agenda and that is to run good hearted humble truth seekers right away from the church

no, I do not see any correlation. I have seen plenty of rude people on this site, and I'd say it's about half and half between believers and non-believers.

I generally think that the lesser amount of respect you give to human life, the ruder are you. Religious groups are known for having a low respect for human life, but not all religious people do.

Not necessarily the case, as I do know a few religous folk who are open-minded and kind. Sadly, they are the minority in my experience.

There is no correlation between religiosity and oboxiousness.
It just so happens that obnoxious, religious people tend to choose their religion to be obnoxious about.
