I am a happily married 22 year old. We just happen to live with my parents. My mom feels that it is ok to just walk in the bathroom when I am taking a shower. I feel that this is an invasion of privacy. Should I confront her? If so, how should I?

As far as moving out, when you can't afford it you can't do it. I'm glad that everyone else has that opportunity. We don't.

Its perfectly okay to be upset at any invasion of privacy that you feel uncomfortable with. Tell her you want privacy when you're in the bathroom. You have that right just as a child has the right to say they don't want to be hugged by certain people or that they don't want to be touched in certain places.
A mother who is offended is having problems separating herself from her children. It isn't healthy for you or for her. You have a right to expect respect and it is a move into adult hood to demand it...even if you live in her house.
If she ridicules you or demands to go any where, anytime she wants because "It's MY house" leave until SHE grows up.

I would talk with your Mother in a calm understanding manner. Don't become too excited! Follow the suggestions of locking the bathroom door. You are a person & deserve your privacy. I hope everything turns out well for you.

You should lock the bathroom door when you take your shower. That way mom can't walk in!

is there more than 1 bathroom? if so then lock the door when you shower-that should say it without saying it.
If she asks you about it just smile and tell her that taking a shower is private time for you and to please repect your privacy even though you live in her house.

Yes, you should. Ask her to come into your bedroom so you can have a talk with her when you're finished getting dressed.
Even though it is your parent's home, you have a right to your privacy.
But if I were you, I would also start saving my money to get my own place to live!!! Good luck!

Honestly, I think you and your hubby should move out.
You'll have all the privacy you both need and won't have to get in to pissy fits with your parents.

Why not just tell her how you feel? Be polite and understanding, but firm and relentless as well.

Try locking the bathroom door.
If it doesn't have a lock, barricade it.
