I like for my kids to have their shoes on during the day, does anyone else do this or know anyone that does? If you do at what age?

I asked this because I use to see lots of parents do this in the past, but it seems that more are keeping their kids barefoot indoors.

I hate wearing shoes and sock myself so I rarely wear them my kids have picked up the barefoot habit.... We keep our shoes in a rack in the entryway with clean socks in each pair of shoes making it a simple process to put them on when we are getting ready to go out but rarely wear them indoors or in the yard...

If its chilly in the house we each have a coupe pair of slippers we can wear...

No my kids wear shoes and socks if we leave the house or go outside to play. My carpets are not for shoes to be on. But I also want my kids comfy. As babies I never used shoes just warm socks.....

No, I only put shoes on when needed...it is better for developing feet to be bare or with just non skid socks. I was told this by my pediatrician and also by my sister who is a physical therapist for babies. If they need to have shoes on, I usually put Robeez on them...they are soft, flexible, for to baby's feet and can be worn outside. Check them out, they are great and babies can't get them off!
