The purpose of a mod chip in a video game system is to allow the system to play copied games, as the mod chips subvert the anti-piracy mechanism in video game systems. As far as computers, this same effect is usually done with a piece of software, making a mod chip for a computer unnecessary.

All i know is this.....factory xbox's, or ps2 systems dont come with "ModChips" this is why theyre called "ModChips" because the aforementioned "chip" modifies the motherboard process.

Do a google search on modding your xbox or whatever you have. Websites sell them, and can install them at an expensive rate.

And installing this game system's "modchip" into your computer would be a waste of time probably since it would be specifically targeted to the motherboard of the system.
