how can u tell what gender ur cat is?

i just got the cat today. its arround 3 - 4 months old.. but i dont know what gender it is.. how can i tell?

Just pick you cat up; turn him belly up; hold his tail out of the way and look at his bottom. The bigger hole nearest the base of the tail is the anus. Now there should be second, smaller hole for peeing immediately below the anus. If there are two puffy mounds on either side and slightly above the peeing hole, than you have got a male. Those puffy mounds are the cat's testes.

If you still can't tell, go to your next door neighboe who owns a cat and aske him/her to look at your cat's bottom for you. he he he

Determining the sex of a kitten may be difficult especially before about 8 weeks of age. The male and the female kitten's genitalia look remarkably similar. If kittens of both sexes are available to compare, it makes the process easier and more likely to be correct. In the male kitten, the scrotum is located below the anus and above the back of the hind legs. The testicles are descended into the scrotum presumably at the time of birth. Females the anus and vaginal openings are right next to each other. Males there is a space where the testicals will be.

Look under the cat's tail. If it has two fuzzy lumps under there, it's a boy and if it doesn't, it's a girl.
