Today has been rather mild compared to last night. I even went off on a rant. You noticed how badly people were treating the WSID? Retard, and it spilled over onto everyone here.

I don't know why it's done, but it has only served to chase a lot of good people from this forum, and it isn't winning anyone any friends.

I suppose we are all guilty of it (yes, I include myself) but it does get tiresome.

EDIT: Suzie, I posed a question last night that was inflammatory, but was well deserved by the people I directed it towards. They were relentless with their belittling and would not stop, so I went after them. Highly unusual for me, but I've noticed lately that my patience is wearing rather thin.

Anyway, when I awoke this morning, I realized that I was wrong to have posted such a question. I pulled it without even reading what both sides had to say. Why read things that were only going to be hurtful? I posed the question, I pulled it. That was the responsible thing to do.

I have been bombarded with hate mail all day, calling me a hypocrite and every other name in the book. These are the Christians that are supposed to be so loving and forgiving. They have harrassed me all day.

I have not replied to their filth. I will not, because I feel I can be bigger than that.

Yet they wonder why we get upset.

sign of the the times we are living!Personally I think GOD does not favor this.behavior, one that cares about you cares about your feelings too.we are human and those people speaking to you rudely are not super heros with powers to comdemn you for not knowing their ways.i understand some what being the sinner,i,m not perfect I do have flaws/habits that Some judge as sin,but didn,t jesus come to the world for the sake of sinners?right now i pray that you will find a new/old freind that has questions ,hopes for a greater tomarrow ,and you will come to understanding about GOD/CREATOR/MESSIAH..it IS a REAL LOVE AFFAIR..don,t turn your back on the truth! people that don,t know the right way to share GODS love well their behavior and ill will even if they mean well will be judged by the same GOD they were speaking of..

We are all a product of our beliefs. We cannot help but live out what we believe about ourselves. Most believe certain things about God based on parental upbringing and childhood experiences. Christ never taught exclusion of anyone. People have a real hard time with love and forgiveness. Maybe, they have never actually known Jesus.

We should live in public what we practice in private.

Because they are afraid of truth. People with weak and unstable belief systems will act like bullies. Put others down to make themselves look superior. All people do it, but generally, the more "devout" a person, the more bashing they do.

Suzie K,
Jesus had something to say about that. You see, He said that some try to hide their sins, and hated the light because it revealed too much that they did not want seen.

I am not saying that some don't go too far, and some of those even forget that the Gospel message is actually what we are supposed to bring to those that do not believe.

The Gospel message is that Jesus died for our sins, and by believing in Him, you can have eternal life. Your sins are forgiven by Him and by no other way are you saved.

There is no place for rudeness in the life of a Christian, but it is our command to warn people.

Matthew 28:18-20
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
GO YE therefore, and TEACH all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world, Amen.

I do not know and it's completely exasperating. If I'm "lost" shouldn't they be really nice and explain to me how to find my way rather than yell at me? How eager am I going to be to join a group of people that call me stupid and damned? :(

Just one reason why people are rejecting religion in droves. Not nice people to be associated with from what Ive seen.

I hear ya! I find it so frustrating that those who preach of a religion whose foundation is based in tolerance, don't practice this tolerance of differences in others.

Be spiritual if you want to, or religious if you want to, or neither if you don't. Do what you want, and to those who don't like it, ignore 'em.

Namaste :)

Being religious does not mean being meek and mild...we stand up for our faith and use terms that those who bash us understand.
