ISDN is a digital system if I remember correctly, so if your phone is digital rather than analogue this might be problematic. The way to tell is plug an ordinary home phone in to your socket. If it either doesn't fit or doesn't work then you've got a digital phone. If your phone socket is leading to some sort of PX (i.e. a private switch) rather than the trunk then it's almost certainly digital; if it's leading to a DX then that confirms it as such. You could (if you haven't already) try Maplins (maplins.co.uk) or shops in towns for old stock. Other than that if you've got it at home get rid of ISDN and go for ADSL (aka Broadband).
