i wouldn't say there's a set age but i also wouldn't recommend doing it before you're at least 16. the only reason i say this is because your body shape goes through a lot of changes in your teen years. the way that your belly is shaped when you're 13 is going to be different than when you're 18. due to that, the shape of your navel could change a little. those slight changes could cause the piercing to sit differently and it could end up being in an uncomfortable position later on.

I had mine done when I was 25. My cousins all had theirs done when they were in their late teens but I waited out of respect for my mother and grand mother. Honestly, I would suggest making sure that you don't intend on getting pierced with in 1-2 years of planning on having a child otherwise the piercing could seal shut with in the time span you are in the hospital and you could potentially not get re-pierced due to the scaring.

i'd say 16 or 17 - a piercing on that part of the body sends quite a message to the boys. A very inviting one. So if it were me I wouldn't allow it until she was 18.

All my friends got theirs at like 15 or 16. The earliest being 14. Some places wont do it until your 16.

I got mine done when I was 10/11. No problem with it! It's not like I exposed my stomach... ever! I'm not the best example of sensible piercings though. ;)

ok i got mine done when i was 13. i seriously dont know what all the fuss is about, if u look after it and keep it clean, like dont touch it every 2 seconds then its fine. it doesnt hurt at all and if u want it done do it at ne age!
