I was at a dance on Friday. There is this girl, that me and my friend both like. I asked him, if he was going to ask her to dance. He said "Yes". So, I wasn't gonna intervene, cuz i didn't want to cause problems. I figured there is always a next time. Well, there was like 45 minutes to go and he still didn't ask her. So I figured, he isnt gonna do it. So I asked her, and she said yes. The truth was that he was gonna ask her too(he was actually walking up to her as I was asking her.) so now he is a littled PO'd at me. What do I do?? Whose falt??

There's nothing wrong with friends dancing. The girl has a choice to make too. It's only fair that she knows that you both like her. As to your friend explain to him that you didn't think he would ask her.

You take her to the dance. Tell him the truth about your intentions on asking her out to the dance... If he's a real friend he will understand the importance of your friendship and hopefully realise that it is not worth throwing away... You're both not at fault, just misunderstanding would be my verdict

It's no ones fault. Neither one of you are dating her. Both of you can dance with her and he shouldn't be mad. He didn't ask fast enough and you didn't think he was going to ask at all?! It's just a misunderstanding. No big deal. Tell him what happened and it'll be fine. I'm sure it'll blow over and he'll get over it. OK? I hope this helped.

No ones fault. He shouldnt have told you he was going to do it and wait til the last second. But then again you should have told him you had feelings for her cuz then you could have timed it.
