Yeah, we know the bible is an endless tyrade of contradictive irony.

You misquoted Matthew 5:22. In the NIV, it says, whoever says you fool will be "in danger" of hell fire. You are embellishing (I.E.: you are a liar).

Obviously, focusing on the sins of other people makes one blind to our own.

In this context, "fool" seems to imply "apostate", that is, one who has abandoned his faith. Jesus was making the point that it is dangerous to focus so much on the faults of other people that you become filled with sinful hate.

At the risk of placing myself in danger, I will note that any idiot can pull verses out of context in order to ridicule what he cannot understand. I don't think that anyone is going to abandon his faith because you made a clown out of yourself by showing off your ignorance.

But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca(Empty, Worthless), shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

The whole of Mathew 5:22

Angry with his brother without cause...hmmm. I don't think calling someone a fool, when you really are dealing with a fool, falls into what you're trying to say...

Fool

He was saying that God looks at the intention of your heart. If you call someone a fool with hatred in you're heart, it is considered murder in his eyes.

Can you see the intentions of a person?

God can. And we will all have to answer for every idle word every thought, and every intention

Jesus can say it because He is God and can see perfectly into everyone's hearts. Humans can't do that and thus arn't allowed to say things like that.
