BEST BBQ GRILLED RIBS (SIMPLE)
2 racks of ribs
salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
1 bottle honey bbq sauce
water
1/8 cup olive oil
aluminum foil
grill
Start off by placing ribs in a glass casserole dish, rub with oil and then with salt and pepper. Now flatten ribs as much as possible and add water just to barely cover them. Ribs racks may be cut in half if needed).
Simmer in oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or just until tender; (don'’t try to cook them too fast or they will become tough).
When ribs are finished in the oven, drain them, start grill on medium and allow to heat.
Cover with foil and brush (or pour) on just a small amount of oil to keep ribs from sticking/burning. Brush on first layer of bbq sauce after draining.
Once grill is heated, place ribs on grill. Cook covered for 5-10 minutes, then brush on bbq sauce. Grill another 5-10 minutes, keep adding bbq sauce until there is a thick layer of bbq sauce.
If ribs become somewhat dark, that's ok; the bbq sauce tastes better cooked than raw. When bbq sauce is all gone, the ribs are almost done.
Grill 5 more minutes to finish cooking bbq sauce, then serve. If they stick a little it is ok, that is what the oil and foil is for!!

the grill is not just the only thing you use to cook a good slab of ribs......
The first thing you do is; pull from the freezer and place in a pot of boiling water (of course you have to take the wrapper off first) adding lots of pepper, salt, garlic, and onion salt.
Boil until tender.
Mix your sauce (depending on your taste preference) with water lightly thinning some of your sauce. Put a thin layer of the sauce into the pan along with the ribs, coat the ribs with pure sauce and place into the oven set on bake 450 degrees for about half hour. Turn and add more sauce along with more sauce set for about another half hour.
Now you are ready for the grilling.
Put the slab of ribs on the pre-heated grill and cake on the diluted sauce keeping the fire smoking out the ribs, now just before the ribs are completley grilled cake on pure sauce on both sides of ribs and close the lid and let sit until cooked to your liking.
Guaranteed the meat and flavor will fall offf the bone into your mouth!

Pre-season your ribs with Lawrys seasoning salt and ground pepper, garlic granules, and sesame oil. Marinate for a couple hours in the frigerator. After marinating them you can barbique them on the grill. Use your favorite barbique sause on them before they are done grilling. Barbique sauce tends to burn and I just would suggest you put it on the ribs the last ten minutes before taking them off the grill. To keep the ribs warm, place or wrap them in tin foil in your oven at 250 degrees so they wont dry out or continue to cook.

First, make sure the charcoals are good and hot . Place the ribs on and smother them in a good b.q. sauce. Wait 3 minutes and flip over. Cook another 5 minutes and get ready to eat a treat ! Good Luck ! :)

I like to simmer mine in half beer half water and an onion halfed and a couple of bay leaves and peppercorns. Simmer for about a half and hour. Season with a rub of your choice and grill with indirect heat for about twenty minutes. Then start the sauce basting. Do as many layers of sauce as you like. But do this over the coals about 5 inches away from the coals.

Boil them first (about an hour), then put your sauce on them, then grill them. They will cook faster on the grill, and be so tender they'll fall off the bone. Yum, sounds good!

If you are wanting BBQ, dont cook on a grill. BBQ is low heat and slow. Grilling is high heat and fast.
