i like this guy. and i think he likes me. well at least he says he does. but he is so quiet. we never get to talk. i dont know what to say. he is so quiet and im kind of outgoing. any suggestions?

If you take their advice and ask him out, ask him to a movie, no pressure to talk there! Then go get a burger or shake and sit quietly, the conversation will come. The closest relationships are with those who you can sit with in silence, as well as in speech.
Don't scare him to death with too much nonsensical chatter. Tone it down a notch at first and then open up your sparkling personality as you get to know each other better. He will grow comfortable with you if he likes what he See's.

my fiance was the quiet shy type until i went out with him. i am the outgoing type just like you are. i would talk and talk, and ask him questions that would require more than a 3 word answer. and then as time went by he would talk a little bit more. and now he wont shut up. he is as outgoing as i am. just be yourself, and if he still is the quiet type then just be patient with him. he might be shy and dont know what to say because he likes you too. and he dont know what to say or he dont know how to start off a conversation. just give him time and be patient. i was in the same situation as you are now 6 years ago with my fiance. and now 6 years later, he is my fiance. so bottom line, be patient :)

start talking to him and get to know him better. Im the type of guy whos quiet. and if i were the guy you're talking about, i'd want you to start talking to me

jus start talkin to him gradually
try to do it when you 2 are alone (not many people around)
he might not talk because he's shy

he may be shy... he dosen't want to say something that turns you off or even piss you off....just talk about things you have in common school your future family etc...
