It's totally normal to feel overwhelmed, so don't sweat it!

Maybe you should get a journal and each day record your thoughts/feelings about what went on that day and what might've caused you stress.

The point in that is that after writing in it for a week you can look back at your writings and evaluate the things that stressed you out. It's pretty amazing to look back and see how microscopic things can be that can cause stress on us. But, this is a healthy alternative to dealing with your stress rather than keeping it bottled up!

Also, take up a fun activity! Racquetball is a GREAT sport to relieve stress because you can hit alittle blue blue as hard as you can against a wall and it keeps coming back for more!! Athletics are great for stress relievers, as is Yoga, Pilates and kickboxing!

If that fails just have one night a week where you and your best girlfriends can get together and maybe have a movie night or just chill- No Cellphones allowed (optional). Just to get your stresses off your chest and eventually laugh about them!

Goodluck with school and although the road may seem long and difficult now it WILL be worth it in the end. and remember, "nothing worth having comes easy" - Bust your butt now for the easy road later, trust me you'll be glad you did!

First, make some sort of list or have the calender on your computer remind you of things that need to be done. That way, you won't have them in your head and worry about forgetting something.

Second, do some slow, deep breathing. Close your eyes, relax. Think of a calm, beautiful scene, like at the beach. Hear the waves gently crashing, feel the warm sand between your toes. You live in S.F., I'm sure you have probably been to Half Moon Bay or Santa Cruz, remember walking on the beaches there.

Third, buy some good lavender oil and put some in your bath water. You won't need much, it's potent. It relaxes and soothes you just before bed.

Next, make sure you keep healthy by eating well, getting rest and stay away from people getting sick. Take vitamins for stress; antioxidants like C, E, B-complex are all very good plus a multi. Make sure to get exercise everyday, even just walking for 20 minutes does wonders. Don't forget to take breaks so you won't get tense. Good luck, you will be fine.

Everyone gets stressed at times. You need to set aside some time for yourself without thinking about homework for at least a half an hour after you get home from school. Just sit and have something to drink and listen to your favorite music or read something fun. Going outside for a walk can help. Make sure you are eating healthy meals and getting enough sleep at night. While you are doing your homework, take short breaks every hour or so to get up from the desk or off of the computer and get a glass of water, a healthy snack and just relax for a few moments. Hope this helps. Have a good night.

Keep your life in balance.

First, remember to eat properly.

Second, set aside time for physical exercise. I can't stress enough how much stress you'll burn off in a half hour of good exercise.

Third, don't neglect your spiritual side. Everyone has one, you know. This includes practicing your religious stuff, maybe meditation, or even just setting time for quite reflection.

Strangely, when you take time out from your homework for these items, you get much more efficient at learning, and therefore you get more done.

Are you getting any exercise? That is the best stress relief of all. Eat right, drink the right kind of liquids (water, etc.), back off on the caffeine as much as possible. And prayer (or meditation if you don't pray) helps too!

Be sure to take time out for your favorite hobby. Even if it is just for a short break. If you don't have a hobby get one. You must have a favorite activity.

Get off the computer and start studying. Building confidence and noticing how you get done with all your homework will automatically relax you.
