I have a dime sized bump or growth on my inner thigh thats gotten bigger over the past week or so. Its gotten harder also. I thought it was an ingrown hair so I messed with it and all it did was bleed profusively and a black hole in the middle of it appeared. I dont know whats going on. Does anyone have any ideas of what it may be?

Doesn't sound pretty. Could be a lot of things such as cyst or a boil. You should go to the doctor and have it checked especially since you dug at it.

A black hole in the middle makes it sound like a wart. To be sure have it looked at by a doctor.

It sounds like a skin infection that is deeper then an infected hair. The best bet is to see your doctor because a lot of times these will not heal with out antibiotics or even lancing.

i'm not really sure what it could be...if it where a cist there would be clear drainage and if it were a boil it would have milky drainage. I think this is something to get checked out immediately. sry i cant be of much help
