Yahoo is a safe as you want to make it. They have their own screening for virus and if you keep your details to yourself then you are safe.

Safe from what? Internet predators.....NO, hackers......NO weirdos......NO I guess it's pretty safe to say that Yahoo is not all that safe.

There are'nt really any safe internet applications...you have to protect yourself. It's a jungle out there..tons of people who want to scam you, phish you, etc...
