try "natural Match" hair dye,,that is supposed to match your natural color even if the dye color is a bit different, I just read that in Glamour or Cosmo..You could also dye it black but once you do that it will be really hard to get it any other color....also it will be nearly impossible to get rid of the black dye, by dyeing it red bec it needs to be stripped to get the black out...if you do dye it a red it may not cover the black or it may slightly turn the black red but you will still be able to see the darker areas...I really suggest going to a professional and having her strip out the highlighted pieces & dyeing it all back to your natural color.

Well, if you can afford to go to a hairstylist, one that specializes in color, then do that. Otherwise, go to a beauty supply store and ask the salesperson to help you find a hair color product that will be the closest to your own color, and one that is permanent enough to eliminate the black highlights. You should be able to take care of it that way. You know, I've seen red highlights on black hair but not the other way around. Good luck.

Your going to need to see someone that does corrective hair coloring. If I knew where your at I could give you the name of someone in your area to go to. Your going to need to have the black stripped out of those pieces of hair and then have it colored to a shade that is close to your natural color. A professional hair colorist can mix different colors to get the right shade for you. You have about six months to get this done. I'm sure something can be done. Don't go to just any salon either. You need someone that specializes in hair color correction.Don't let a hair stylist tell you that you need to have all your hair stripped either, you just need the black taken out of those pieces. Don't try to color over the black because it will not work and you will make the problem harder for someone to correct. Leave it alone until you can find a good colorist. Good luck

I think you should die it another color but if that doesn't work then try putting this hair spray in called Touch of Sun. It's like another way to dye your hair except all you do is spray. P.S. It's permenent

Go to a good professional high end salon and see if they have a remedy to undo it. Otherwise they might be able to dye your hair closest to your natural hair color. Good luck.

Go to a hair stylist if you can afford to but if not dish detergent with lemon in it strips my hair of cigarette smoke (I have blonde hair) so it might fade them some. Also you can go to somewhere like CVS and get a toner (not a color) that my tone them down some.

I don't know if this actually works or not...but....my mom's friend dyed her hair and it looked awful. She started washing her hair with Dawn dish detergent and it went back to the color it was. If you're desperate, you could always try it.
