From the Islamic viewpoint, you are most welcome to marry in a mosque, since Moslem men are allowed to marry women of the Book, meaning Christians and Jews

Well wouldn't you have to convert for him. I don't think its right that if your catholic and your getting married in a masjid. Um because from what i have heard no non-catholic can get married in a catholic church without becoming catholic. That's what my friend had told me. Her husband is catholic and she had to go through a whole bunch of stuff at this church several weeks prior to the ceremony. so I don't think that its right that you are doing that. Think about that. But really why don't you guys go to a denominational court and get married there. That would be better. I sure you have it where ever you are.

I am not certain that non-Muslims are allowed in all mosques, but I am certain that from an Islamic point of view, he is absolutely allowed to marry a Christian.

Most Sheykhs do not have a license to perform marriages, so you would also have to have a court house marriage for it to be legally official.

I think it is wrong for you to marry in a mosque when you don't even know how to spell the word properly. that is at the very least a total lack of respect for the entire muslim culture.

You cannot wed in a mosque without a dispensation from your Bishop without excommunicating yourself. I do not know about the legality of it.

I'm not catholic, but I think it would be a legal and binding marriage in whatever state or country you're in, but not recognized by your church.

Absolutely....why doesn`t he marry in a catholic church? Same reason...studies show interfaith marriages rarely last.
