it would take years to design and it sounds expensive + there is no way of escaping death when its your time to go its just your time to go

Tecnically it is physically possible but u would have to wait 20 years for the new u to grow. Then u would have to pray ur brain survived the transplant undamaged, that the nerves joined n repaired successfully and that ur now 120 year old brain still had the capacity to relearn how to function a younger body-one that doesn't make u moan with pain n effort just getting out of a chair. If any of these or other innumerous physical hurdles are too hard to overcome then ur gonna wind up with a gorgeous 20 yr old body that u have no control over, which ur brain is now trapped inside of- might as well have invested in portable life support, like the 'heads in jars' on "Futurama". AND all those issues with out even going into the moral dilemma of wiping out a perfectly healthy 20 year old human psyche (the 'clone's' brain) for ur own selfish gains.
Humans r not designed with enuf stamina for immortality. It's the reason nature designed us to have a physical use-by-date. Yes we fantasise about it but it belongs with fairy tales- a paradise holiday for the brain which must be inevitably returned from.

Scientists today believe we will achieve near immortality in this century, not by cloning whole persons or transplanting brains, but simply by extending life. Many diseases have been eliminated or brought under control and the secrets for a long and healthy life are being discovered - the do's and dont's (don't smoke, do eat properly, etc.). It's scary to think we could become immortal as it would change absolutely everything. Overpopulation would be the first concern. Boredom would lead people to do awful things, I'm sure. Suicides would increase. And so on.

If such a brain transplant was possible and could transfer the personality and memories etc. of the previous brain that would quite possibly answer the question of whether people have a soul and if the soul is the person etc.
No, it's not possible, lol.
edit: Also, the cells making up your brain would start to degrade after not so long.

Well theoraticaly it is possible but practicaly it impossible, btw if u get a clone now , u ,ll have to wait for years . n brain is such a senstive n delicate organ that half of it wud damage during all this process. thts y practicaly this is impossible, hey but it can be a good story for some movei.
Secondly i i think if u have spent a good life , why dont u just accept its ending.........i think excess of eveyrthing is bad, even if it is life. so enjoy ur days now to the full n dont worry for getting new life. i fear u ,ll loose the charm of ur natural life if u just keep on thinking how to prolong the life.

The best thing would to transfere your brains information into a robot. You would have to kill you 20 yr old clone to inhabit it's body. An ethical delima
