I agree with Poki; besides there is no mention of the Christian God within either the Declaration of Independence or The United States Constitution, and if a supreme being is mentioned it is call 'Creator' so as to leave it open to interpretation for those who may not be a member of any of the big three religions. (The big three being Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.) To answer your question they probably would not agree with each other; I mean look at how some of them treat those that do not even follow the Christian faith. Some people within all the varied Christian denominations are so unwilling to hear what someone else believes that they will call them a Devil worshiper whether the individual believes in the existence of such a being or not. I myself have left the Christian faith and I am now a practicing Pagan (I believe in a Creator being that is genderless and undefinable and I also worship Ge (Gaea) the ancient Greek goddess of the earth and mother of all the gods and goddess and humanity) who rejects the notion of supremely evil being that forces you to do evil or negative things instead of doing things that are good or positive in nature. A better question to ask is would it be the right thing to do, and the best answer to that question is no.

Ã,
This Christian would be against it, unless the Lord had already returned. Any other form of "State" church would be terrible to say the least. We have what happens not only with the Anglican Church of England, but also the Roman Catholic Church and it's monstrous deeds before that.

I doubt it. There is a lot a tension between different Christian denominations. But that's just religion for you.
