use a deep moisturizing shampoo and/or conditioner, and if you decide to straighten it don't leave the iron on your hair for more than 10-15 seconds and DON't put the flat iron on when your hair is wet, If you want another alternative to a straightening iron, then you can use this straightening brush (I use it and it works great, i have wavy and kind of frizzy hair, and the brush takes out the frizz and makes my hair super straight) how you use it is when your blow drying your hair you use the brush to keep your hair straight as it drys. here is the link....(i h think they have some by conair too)

deep condition your hair once or twice a week and use styling products that eliminate frizz or smooth hair before you dry your hair. NEVER EVER use a flat iron on wet hair even if it si emant for that-it will end up burning your hair and killing it. dont put your straightener on the highest possible heat setting-which will fry your hair-but hot enough to straighten hair thoroughly. give your hair a break and dont straighten it every day. good luck!

Don't straighten it every day. Take a few days a week off and wear it wavy.

why would you want to straighten it , normal curly hair is the bomb girl, use it to your advantage, try a mild action apposed to the straightener or find a new hairdresser, good luck!

I hear a flat iron is good for that, but I wouldn't know. Give it a try.
