i know it is easier said than done, but you need to get his attention. LOOK at him straight in the eye, and tell him you would like a 1 on 1 with him. Another thing that I may suggest would be to pray, pray to God, ask Him for His guidanceand everything else will fall into place, like a puzzle.

More often than not, when a man remarries, the children from his first marriage are put in the past with their mother. It's seems a harsh thing to say, but it's reality. He wants to please his new wife and she does not want any reminders around of his first marriage and that includes any kids. I tell you that so you can kind of get an idea of things from your dad's perspective. Does that mean he doesn't love you anymore? No, but your relationship has changed.

You are bordering on being an adult. Set aside your views on your relationship with your dad from a childish viewpoint. Realize he has moved on but his marriage is his priority as it should be. Talk to him as an adult without the whining, complaining and petty jealousies. See him as your dad, but also as a man that can be your friend.

As you become more mature you will become more independent and your dad will kind of fade into the background as your attention turns more towards your own life and future. That's as it should be too. But there is no reason why you can't give your dad love, respect and courtesy.

All the best to you.

Love him while you still have him , life is so short and there are no guarantees . I lost my Dad very young . Do whatever it takes , there is no other relationship like the one between Father and Daughter !

Talk to him the first step to healing is talking. Let him know that you are worried about him. And tell him how you really feel about his relationship. Sometimes father and daughter relationships are really hard but if you both let eachother know how you feel it always helps

speak from your heart unafraid of how he will react.......THE TRUTH ALWAYS WORKS.....it may not be what he wants to hear but it will seep in and you'll get a call a few days later......just speak your heart.....

Try writing it down first as if U were having a connversation w/ him without him there......if it seems to flow on paper.....just hand it to him....otherwise use it as a guide when U speak......Good Luck and God Bless
