now i'm wondering if it could be a tooth. it's the weekend, of course, and no dentist is available in this town. my teeth don't hurt, but one feels just different. sensitive, maybe. and the roof of my mouth hurts horribly if you touch it, otherwise it's fine. anyone ever experienced anything like this?

i did once, it was a nreve due to an empacted tooth way up in the gums that never came down. they removed the tooth and i was fine after a few weeks....

Sometimes certain foods will irritate the mouth tissues, and yes I have had my roof hurt..............and it is weird. Usually it doesn't last too long though. Maybe a day or so. In the meantime, read about this product and alot of Mouth information here.

You could possibly have an abcessed tooth. Does hot liquids hurt?

Lay off the Dorito's and Pringles and hard cany and citrus. If you have a regular dentist call him tomorrow and they probably have a emergency number and or call you local pharmacy they might be able to recomend something. Check out web md.

I remember having this problem when I was going through growth spurts in my teens. That is about the only time I have had problems there.
