since God was just above the clouds over earth, everything had to orbit Earth. Then came my friend Galileo, he said that in fact, everythind orbited THE sun and not the Earth, of course the Christians treated him and his "unproven" idea liek they do with evolution. So conclusion.... who are Christians to say if evolution is a fact?

pretty much everyone thought that everything orbited the earth, even non- Christians. Galileo, a christian, came to the conclusion that the earth orbited the sun. and with evolution (which hasn't much to do with Galileo) it is in fact an unproven theory, and a theory only. might i ask that you do some research before posting a question that contradicts itself.

Yes they did. a matter of perspective from standing on the Earth and watching things .They do seem to revolve around the earth in a circle. As the earth spins on its axis with the north star as the center point. or the southern star for those that live south of the equator.
Evolution can only happen after something has been created. no creation, no evolution.

Astrologers and Astronomers during the early times of the earth were used to predict the lives of people and they were hired by the rulers who believe in heavenly bodies as the chart to follow. Rulers then believe in the omens brought about by nature and these belief were made available to them by their religious advisers including the flat earth theory et al. Many have met prosperities and downfall without them being foretold by these high priests. Putting theories out of their belief are considered as demonic.
It is only in this latter centuries that science of religion and physical science of man became separated by political decision since religion could no longer satisfy the developing intelligence and curiousities of modern man.

Galileo was a Christian.
Science simply had not advanced when the Bible was written.
Some evolution IS a fact. The rest is only a theory.

You are bringing up the turning from a cosmological view to a scientific view. Anaxagoras's vortex....everything spinning off and away from the earthsteps were made thru Thales Pythagoras, Plato, Aristarchus, Hipparchus, Ptolemy, Clement....Tertullian, Augustine, Pelagius....wait. 580 bc Pericles agreeing with Anax that a naturalistic theory of cosmic origin was correct. So, the magical view of the universe started to fall apart. Plato called God a mathematician, creating in measures and harmonies. Setting things in order, and created the universe from them. Believe it or not, it was economics that started changes pre b.c. era. Science was needed for progress. Cosmology would be understood thru numbers and science would benefit.....growing, thru observations, a new society. We have to skip thru alot of history to get to Galileo. Read Plato's The Republic....his students brought up their proof for an earth centered universe. This is just going to be way to long, so we will cut it short. It was observed that the farther stars did not move as fast as closer stars and planets. Plato effectually stopped progress with those theories. doctrine of ex nihilo , Clement and Pagel's works, Augustinian views....I particularly like Tertullian and his view that anything material is naturally evil..........so we get to Nicholas of Cusa "the eye can never have too much seeing, so the mind is never satisfied with sufficient truth." The more you look...the more facts you try to find. ... Galileo- "Religion teaches men how to go to heaven, not how the heavens go"

There you go again confusing catholics and Christians. Note: Many of the scientific "discoveries" of the Renaissance era were common knowledge in the time of Christ. They were "forgotten" because the catholic church banned the knowledge.

Eratosthenes CALCULATED the equatorial circumference of the earth around 200 B.C.

Once upon a time, EVERYBODY thought that all the planets orbited the Earth, including all the best non-Christian thinkers in the world.

(And your grammar is as bad as your logic.)
