well, talk to yourself, or sing. Through my personal opinion, though, if you stop, your body's trying to tell you something, such as you're pushing too hard. Listen to your body and your life will be a lot easier.

If you want to run long distance and have no reason not to find a partner to run with I know many people that run 5 miles and some that run more. All between the age of 30 and 45

Not sure how old you are.

But maybe you should JUST tell your doctor about it.

Had a friend who had this. Was supposedly VERY FIT. Ran and swam most days. But always felt some fatigue early on. Didn't think much. He was, however, 56. Transpired he had a nearly 98% blocked blood vessel. So it was an oxygen issue.

So just a suggestion.

All the best.

the same thing happens to me when I lift weights. I stop for half a minute or so even though I'm told this decreases the effectiveness. I'd rather stop for a few seconds, rest, regroup, then execute the moves correctly and %1000 percent! If I"m frustrated or tired and they come out half assed, well that's just not cool for me.

This once happened to me. I just didn't want to run after a few minutes. It seemed to go away for me.

I think you are just bored of running, and need to do something else, then come back to it. I don't really know how I regained control again but I did. Just be patient!

Use the tricks in the book, think 'one step after this one'
