my x bf (Gerald) cuz even though we broke up we're still really close friends. He makes funny faces and hugs me when I feel down and it makes it all dissapear. Yeah I know everyone think gothic vamps aren't supposto have feelings but we do and he does. But all he has to do is smile and ba boom everyting that sucked just a second ago is gone it vanishes.

Knowing the following:

1. I am HAPPILY SINGLE -- a Long-Term Single Parent who is FINALLY an Empty-Nester -- and guess what -- NO ONE is in my home destroying or damaging anything -- NO ONE is there making demands on me, my time, or my resources -- NO ONE comments on how I am dressed or what I am doing or where I am going -- NO ONE is holding me back, making abusive comments or attacking me in the home -- NO ONE is swearing at me, or putting me down -- NO ONE is there dirtying up the home .... and guess what -- I HAVE MY HOME TO MYSELF and don't have to please anyone ....

2. Knowing that no matter WHAT was thrown in my way, or how badly I was abused, or what prejudice was encountered, or who stole from me --- that I MADE IT by MY OWN HARD WORK!

3. That MY INCOME is MINE to spend -- and I don't have to spend it on others anymore -- the others who do NOT respect me, what I have accomplished in life, or who choose to treat me badly.

4. That I can come and go as I please -- drive where I want to and be where I want to be.

5. That I can CHOOSE to go BACK to college now for FUN!

6. That I am FINALLY Enjoying myself -- after all the sacrifices that I made along the way -- this is MY TIME of life.

7. That I SURVIVED a brutal, short, disaster of a marriage -- and NEVER looked back. AND ... no matter what the ex did (stalking, stealing my property, property damage/destruction, robbing my residence, assaulting me, stealing my identity, etc ...), then I went on my own -- and RECOVERED because ....

I WORKED all my life, I have consistent income, I RETIRED with HONOR from My Military Service, I SURVIVED -- and I THRIVED!
