go to:
http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/adult_BMI/english_bmi_calculator/bmi_calculator.htm
it has something called a Body Mass Index (BMI) calculator. you put your height and weight in in and it gives you a number and tells you if your within the average weight. The only problem with this it doesn't take into account your muscle mass. You can find a chart and a bunch of BMI calculators all over the Internet.
But .....140 - 150 sounds about right for someone your height.

An adult who is 127 pounds and is 5 feet 6 inches tall has a body mass index of 20.5.
That's great! An adult with a body mass index between 18.5 and 24.9 is considered to have a healthy bmi and so you are likely already at your ideal body weight.

Dear Friend you should know your ideal body weight for your age, height and gender before you decide to reduce your weight. Your present weight in lbs is 127.9 lbs ( equals to 58 kgs ) your ideal body weight considering all facts is 120 lobs and Medical evidence suggests that all 111- 146 lbs (body weights within this range ) are reasonably equally healthy (for people of your height). Outside this range, health risks may occur. So if you would reduce your weight to 48 kgs equals to 105.8 lbs , you are going to fall below your ideal minimum body weight range of 111 lbs . I would suggest that your present weight is perfectly within normal range and if at all you wish to reduce your weight, please do not try to reduce more than 6 kgs.. that will bring you to 52 kgs equals to 114.7 lbs. It should be ok. Reg reducing weight i suggest you consult a dietitian one more thing; wish you a very happy married life.

yes 125 is too skinny for a 26 year old. id say anywhere between 140-150 would be perfect for that age and heigh. now a teenager, 125 wouldnt look as skinny.

In the mood for a new hot meal? Make a big pot of veggie bean soups, divide into two-cup containers, and store inside freezer. Before bed, place a container inside the fridge, then grab it before heading out the door every day.

For sandwich-lovers, use spinach or swiss chard leaves rather then a wrap, skip the slice of cheese, and load standing on the veggies.

It depends on your frame (small, medium, large) and whether you like to look "regular" or thin.
Go to the Kimkins Diet website, look at the top for the Newsletter Archives and in one of them she provides a chart to tell whether you have a small, medium or large frame. There's also a question about how long it will take to lose weight on the Kimkins Diet (fast).
