The first mention of the concept of Original Sin is found, not in Genesis, where the fatal event was supposed to happen, but in the fifth chapter of Romans, written by Paul. According to Paul, humanity was cursed because Adam sinned when he ate of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. As Paul puts it:

Romans 5:12
12Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (KJV)

1 Corinthians 15:22
22For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. (KJV)

Romans 5:17-19
17For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18Therefore as by the offence of one [judgment came] upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one [the free gift came] upon all men unto justification of life.
19For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinner

In different words, sin became no longer judged by ability of guy pre-Mosaic regulation. The regulation became so as that the Israelites might desire to work out from the regulation that a guy had sinned in a particular way and in what way he might desire to be punished. ahead of the regulation, purely God might desire to mete out judicial judgements. whilst Christ ended the Mosaic covenant, he set up the "older adult males" to accomplish the duty of counseling ones and conserving the congregation sparkling. to respond to the 2d a million/2... Even tho we are predisposed so a sinful state, there's a difference between a mistake and planned sin. The congregation is meant to be set up in one in all those way that spiritually qualified brothers could attempt to "readjust a guy in the previous he takes a faux step." - Gal 6:a million even with the undeniable fact that the unrepentant sinner could could be positioned out of the congregation till optimistically at a later time he might come to his senses and look for out God's prefer as quickly as greater by ability of adjusting his behaviour. that's additionally the place the ransom sacrifice is obtainable in, as no you are able to truly "earn" the dominion by way of sturdy works because of the fact we "all fall short". i desire you maintain searching for and discover the slender direction!

That's not completely true.
In Genesis 3, when God is handing down judgement for Adam and Eve's sin, He is speaking of the punishment for ALL of Adam and Eve's descendants.
