Does a toy poodle's disposition/playfulness/cheerfulness change after she becomes a mommy? Thanks!?

Often a dog becomes a little less "puppy like" and more maternal and caring after having puppies. Not just to her pups, but long term ... seems to make many of them more ... sensitive and a bit less exuberant. Shouldn't effect playfulness too much, they just seem a little less "carefree".

She might be a little protective of her puppies, but if she trusts you there shouldn't be any major changes.
