Well, to get a friend you have to be a friend. I met most of my friends through church, sports, and home school groups. We would get together about twice a week and have classes. We also did a couple plays.
You aren't the only home schooled person out there, ask around to see if anyone knows of any home schooled people your age.

Friends can be found within the neighborhood, at local parks, or various places the children go for activities. A home-schooled child doesn't mean a child can't have friends. Do you attend church, that's a great place to meet other children . Do you go to local events within your city or town? This is another great place for your child to make friends. Kudos to you for home-schooling!

There are not any specific training had to instruct in maximum situations. some states require which you have a coaching certificates, others require which you sign up with the nearby college board. In maximum, there is not any such requirement. That being pronounced, there is various artwork in domicile education. you're taking over a gaggle of accountability. With 3 diverse infants wanting to be homeschooled, you will ought to stability your schedule intently to have the skill to maintain issues flowing. there are a number of reliable domicile college curriculums available. between those, some have video/satellite tv for pc that can assist you in conserving issues rolling. BJU Press has a satellite tv for pc college (which meets the certificates/licensing challenge of those states that require it). A Beka delivers a DVD version of that is training. those materials might additionally assist you in being helpful in getting the youngsters a reliable coaching. I applaud you on your willingness to make such an investment in yet somebody else's infants.

My kids:
homeschool groups (park day, field trips, prom, etc)
outside classes (art, sign language, etc.)
recreational sports teams (basketball, soccer, etc.)
church (sunday school, charity events, etc.)
relatives (cousins)
neighbors
(and homeschooled kids usually play better with siblings than school kids who think they can only play w.same-agers)
My oldest's best friend for 6 years went to public school, then we moved. His current best friend is homeschooled, and they do all the normal get-togethers and sleepovers that school kids do.
The idea that we sit home all day every day is a big MYTH!!
