i have been with my bf for one month now, and we have been on two official dates. But then, yesturday, when we were on our second date at the mall, we were eating and he said that he "Has to take me to The Old Spagetti Factory for our first date" . I don't get it. We hold hands, he pays for my food, and we share the same soda, but yet he keeps talking about where he wants to take me for our first date? What does he think we are doing???? What does he consider a date to be??????????

Communication problems. If you don't want his or your time wasted, get it clear to him right now that you're confused.
Sounds to me that this guy feels lucky to have you and early on he doesn't want to screw it up so he figures he's going to outdo himself the best he can.

This is kinda tough, u don't give enough info. R u meeting him @ the Mall? If so, that's not really a "date", that's just meeting & hanging out. A "real" date is he plans on where he wants to take u, picks u up @ ur place, & u go out. Or, he asks u where u want to go , u 2 make plans, he picks u up @ ur place & u go. What do u consider a "date"?

I think he wants to treat you to something truly special. Basically he wants to spoil you rotten. Have fun and keep it up. He is just trying to be a sweet caring bf and he cares for you or he wouldn't be trying. Best of luck.

well me and my girlfriend have been together for two months we always see eachother but we had 10 offical dates.he must be stupid and thinks your hanging out not on a date ask him dont be shy .
