See, thats why we are normal and you christians are crazy. We try to a scientic explaination with study and reseach, when all you do is pick up a 2000 year old book. You never question it and call it fact. We read, study, analyse and still call it.... theory. We admit to not knowing where we come from but you crazy christians seem to think that the floating piece of meat in YOUR head somehow holds all the answers in life. It takes a fraction of your brain power to read something and never question it and take it as fact. If god gave to a brain with the ability to question and analyse your owning being why would you shut it down and completely trust a book that was written when society was 100% different from where you live? p.s. people dont read bible quotes, dont waste your time writing them.

good point in theory, but the truth is a lot of us don't even think about what you believe in.

Okay that poses the question. Whats the difference between both theories. Both still require three things at least. motion, action, vibration. If there was nothingness before the big bang then were did the two atoms /masses come from to collide and make the big bang.and what would it look and sound like?
Or are you of the option that there was only chaos before the two atoms/masses collided by accident. second question same as the last of the first.
That is what the bible implies that the CREATOR made its self Out of the chaos by giving it order. and saying a word that caused the Physical Universe to come into being.Still an action movement, vibration.and what would that have sounded and looked like?
Science is still looking at the how was it done rather than who did it.
Most of us are only using 10% of our brain capacity . you seem to be using less than that.
The bible is the written oral traditions from the people that lived back then.An yes we do Question it but still believe. As parts of it have been either lost or deliberately taken out so others can force their idea of what went on onto us.

Too much of a good thing is bad. whether it be science or religion. How many scientific facts have been disproved over the years. How many so called men of learning have spewed out non-sense about the world and the universe over the years only to have them proved wrong later on. Science is a guessing game. You think you know something and if it sounds good then the rest of the scientific community goes along with you. The world is flat-Scientific theory. The sun revolves around the earth-Scientific theory. If you sail far enough you will fall off the end of the earth-Scientific theory. You cannot travel faster than the speed of light-I hope i am around to see that one fall. Science is full of theories and thoughts, conjectures, rumors, maybe and maybe nots. The only thing you do know for sure is that what you say today may not be true tomorrow. Before you lecture anyone on anything perhaps you should look at the platform you are standing on. You don't know anything for sure so how dare you tell me what i should believe in! Get a life!

It has continually intrigued me that there must be 2 diverse traits in Christian attitudes in direction of the super Bang concept: a million) the super Bang concept CONFIRMS what the bible has been saying all alongside 2) the super Bang concept is a SLAP interior the face of Chrsitan thought. the two factions look quite reliable on the instant. the thought there is a few conventional dichotomy between godless super Bangers and god-fearing anti-super Bangers is a fantasy, usually perpetuated via the anti-super Bang crowd. And yet even interior of this anti-super Bang Christian crowd, there remains no consensus as to WHY they oppose the super Bang concept. some are Biblical inerrantists, arguing that the super Bang concept flat out contradicts the Genesis tale, and for this reason is a heresy, others say that the super Bang concept is an extension of Darwinism (see different answerers right here) and for this reason inhuman, and nevertheless others say the super Bang concept ability that "issues sprung out of no longer something and that's in simple terms logically impossible", and thus denies the very existence of God, as your question asks approximately. This record is hardly ever exhaustive. however the muse clarification for all of it quite is using the reality that technological know-how is approximately having ever-changing (evolving?) perspectives of the worldwide and cosmos around us, because of fact that is approximately discovering new issues through assertion and deductions, on the same time as lots of religion is conservative, "info and certainty" supposedly as unvarying because of fact the medieval concept of stars interior the celestial heavens. all of us understand how in simple terms how violent and changing those stars available, and we ought to continually be grateful to God that we take place to stay in a reasonably quiet stellar community.

I'm a Christian and don't think that. Being an atheist simply means you reject God as being a supreme personal divine entity. However, an atheist could have an impersonal, worldly, and/or materialistic god such as money (Materialism). An atheist could also believe they are their own god and only care about them self (Suitheism). The big bang, evolution, morality, and any other beliefs or concepts are optional for theists or atheists.

1 Thessalonians 5
19Do not put out the Spirit's fire; 20do not treat prophecies with contempt. 21Test everything. Hold on to the good. 22Avoid every kind of evil.

In MY experience there are VERY FEW Evolutionists that talk as if evolution is a theory. I have listened to lectures that lasted for hours and not one time was the word "theory" mentioned but he speaker talks as if everything he/she was saying is fact...

I have heard a few speakers that start with the statement that it is a theory, but then 3 hours later it has been forgotten by most of the audience...

and the 2000 year old book you talk of is MUCH OLDER than that, only the New Testament is 2000 years old (and that was written many years after the death of Jesus)...

The Bible contains the words of witnesses to many things and I do not just blindly believe all of it, I pray about it and pray to know if it is true or not...

Something much stronger than just my brain tells me that the Bible is true (even if I do not understand HOW it is true when some of it seems to contradict other parts)...

I have faith in Jesus Christ, his teachings, his Disciples, His Prophets in the Old and the New Testaments.. and my faith is strengthened by the testimony of the Holy Ghost when I pray about the Bible and the Book of Mormon.

I am not sure to understand your question. I am a Christian (Catholic), I believe in God and I am in agreement with the big bang theory. Like a lot of Christians around me. Furthermore, not all Christians read the Bible and believe it "to the word". And not every Christian is a narrow, simple minded-person unable to think. I believe in God; that's a question of FAITH. I have to admit that there is no rational explaination to that. I believe it, I feel it. That's it. And I agree with Darwin theory that make more sense to me than Adam, Eve and their big family. Please, do not reduce faith and christianity to the reading of a book.

(and by the way, you are not supposed to "believe" in the Big bang theory but to understand it and agree to it, which is slightly different.)

.You make a lot of assumptions about Christians. Not all Christians have exactly the same beliefs. Many Christians also read, study and analyze and still come to the conclusion that we believe in God. There are many things about Christianity to disagree with that do not require a lack of belief in God's existence.

Guess we'll all find out the answer at some point.

I think it took the floating piece of meat in my head an amazing amount of energy not to be insulted by your tirade.
I believe you are mistaken, and mostly misguided if you think that all Christians are that mindless and gullible. I would like to see you in a debate with the likes of Dr. Emile Sylvestru or any number of 1000's of PHD holding scientists who are firm believers in the sovereignty of Jesus Christ

You ARE aware, aren't you, that the Big Bang Theory was devised by a Roman Catholic, Jesuit Priest, who also happens to hold a degree in physics.
