I heard that there was a letter that one has to write in order to get a grant. It is all free money that does not have to be repayed and that not many people know about it. I really want to go to school next year but I can't afford it, if there is such thing PLEEEASE help me find it.

pell grant. go to your college and your financial aide person will help you. they are quite common.

there are other grants out there, but you will have to do the research yourself on that. they depend on different things going on in your life. it gets quite involved so if your on here looking for easy answers, it isn't going to happen.

If you google you can get to gov. grants. Did you know that everyone qualifies for student loans. It doesn't matter how much income you have. I am unemployed and I don't even own a car and I got a student loan. You don't need money to go to school. Pick what school you want to attend go to financial aid and they will tell you what kind of grants you qualify for and even set up your student loan for you. All you have to have is your tax info from the past year or two.

Your school finicial department can help you with government grants, it is not just a letter but an entire application you have to make.

Fill out the fafsa. It applies you for them. The link is below. Search the site for the information as well. This is what i did. It does have a deadline though.

fafsfa can help, also, you may want to look into Pel grants and apply for a MAP grant.
